I've modified Eliza to talk using VIC-VODER. Should work on C64 and C128 as well as VIC-20. This gives a little more life to the venerable therapist. When you've had enough just tell him to, "shut up!" www.geocities.ws/cbm/vic-voder/software/

Truly, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group videocam.net.au/fcugI had a user report that it does not load on C64, so will probably need to fix the start address. (Eliza is just in BASIC.) Robert, I also want to thank you for your YouTube demo video (in Vegas). I added the video to the main page of the VIC-VODER web site. It looks great! You have such a kind way with people. Thank you!

I intend to show Talking Eliza at the November FCUG meeting (October is our picnic lunch with no presentations there). > Robert, I also want to thank you for your YouTube demo video (in Vegas). It was the last to be posted, because I spent a lot of extra post-production time boosting the audio when VIC-VODER spoke (the mic next to VV's speaker was not the best) and adding the insert screenshots from The Count.
